Snow-making Pond Aeration 

in 2018 Pond Pro Canada/ AEC was contacted by The Heights of Horseshoe Ski Club for assistance in improving the water quality of a snowmaking pond. The pond water had high levels of iron resulting in discolored snow. Our team recommended a Can-Air aeration system with six large diffusers to oxidize the iron in the water. The designed system utilizes only 1 HP and has helped remove excess iron in the water allowing the resort to produce clear white snow.
