Our team worked with organizations including the government environmental agency and the local indigenous group to install a 60-diffuser system at the Boat Harbour to reduce BOD, COD, TSS, phosphates, and nitrogen-based contaminants, and improve effluent water quality. Converting the lake from surface aerators to fine-bubble bottom diffusers has doubled/tripled oxygen transfer efficiency, at the same time reducing the system from 600 HP to 15 HP.
A one-of-a kind man-made canal that accesses Alberta's Lac Ste. Anne has been equipped with 30 Can-Air SS diffusers to help improve the water quality for its new residents to enjoy the beaches for swimming and other recreational activities.
Lake Sundance Aeration & Lake Management Plan

AEC's team of biologist were recently contacted by Lake Sundance's Residents Association to come up with a lake management plan to safely and effectively reduce algae, macrophytes, and improve overall aquatic health and water quality. The Heights of Horseshoe Ski Club Aeration for Snow Making Pond
